A Holiday Touch: Bring Fabulous and Festive Inside Your Home
Bringing a touch of the holiday season is a great way to celebrate life and the seasons. Nothing says fun and fabulous like little touches of the holiday season sprinkled throughout your space. And it doesn’t have to cost you a lot - a little definitely goes a long way.
Here are a few easy ways to tastefully bring the festivities home:
Colours
Each season, or holiday, is represented by specific colours. For instance, the Fall and Halloween are often represented by orange, black, red, brown, and yellow (as vibrantly seen on autumn leaves). Or winter and Christmas can be seen through green, red, white, silver, and gold.

Bring Organic Elements Indoors
A charming way to create seasonality inside is by bringing in outdoor seasonal elements. For instance, beautiful tulips during the spring, a mixture of Fall leaves in a bowl in the Fall, or a bowl of pinecones during the winter help create harmony between the outdoors and indoors.
Festive Plants
Plants not only bring freshness and life indoors, but you can align them to the seasons for an extra touch of fun. For example, Christmas is an excellent time of year to bring vibrant poinsettias home. Display them on your kitchen counter, coffee table, or by your window using the uPlant double ledge.
Get Creative with Mason Jars
Mason jars are a cheap and friendly way to bring the seasons and holidays indoors. Take some mason jars, any size you want, and fill them with items representing the time of year. For example, fairy lights are great during Christmas and the winter months. Mason jars can also easily be painted with seasonal colours and put on display.

Chalkboards
Draw your own seasonal design, or write a holiday message using a chalkboard. This cost-effective design tool is especially effective because it can be used all season long. Just erase and create to keep things fresh regularly.
Bring Out the Trays
Large trays are an excellent decorative element and are so versatile. Fill your tray with seasonal items to easily transition from season to season. Add seasonal items, such as pine cones and Fall leaves, holiday-specific decor, like a mini Christmas tree, or simply add candles aligned with the colours of the season.
Seasonal transitions don’t have to be difficult, expensive, or time-consuming. They are not just festive and fun, but they inspire you to enjoy the time of year by reminding you that change and transitions are beautiful. A few simple changes can easily create your seasonal decor.
